I can honestly say that I saw "A" ford in his driveway. It would be stretching things to say "under restoration". More like "under RUST-oration". It was kinda pitiful.Right up there with most high school shop projects. There was a whole pile of boxes in the garage that were allegedly N.O.S. parts, most were labeled J.C.Whitney and Auto Zone. The car did actually run, kinda. The engine appeared to be a 302 with a 429 air cleaner, and you could hear the valves rattle a block away. It blew smoke to the point that I think he was using it to fog for mosquitos, rattled and shook and I think I heard a piece fall off.
The trunk floor had a blue tarp covering up the gaping holes and the paint was three different colors of primer mixed with surface rust, cleverly disguised as a factory paint job through the use of runs and drips. However, it does exist, and I suppose that in his mind, it is undergoing restoration. He did have a pile of pictures of other cars he said were his, they looked like they were cut out of a magazine though. CadillacMan.
