bloody hell! sixty pence??!? thats the most bent thing i ever heard.

anyway, tim traveller doesnt have anything on the classic "crap beano cartoon strips" like vic volcano, number thirteen (so crap they could only afford like, 3 colours), joe king and all the other super crap ones. bloody joe king, every single week he'd tell the same rubbish jokes to get out of some comedy scrape or other.

and minnie the minx was SO over-rated. in my opinion she was one of the worst characters in the beano. 2 pages of crap drawings and general lameness. on the other hand, les pretend was quite criminally under-rated. what he lacked in chuckles, he made up for in storylines and artwork.

anyone who likes the dandy better than the beano is a lame-ass.
