Throughout all these years, since I've been participating in these message board debates and discussions, I'd have to say the most consistent ideology has been Rev. Moore's atheism. By now, I'm sure he's about as exalted as anyone can possibly get when it comes to theology verses atheism. Certainly, though, I believe the number one objective has always been to destroy stoneage religion and fundamentalism and it's undying corruption, violence, and persecution over the entire planet. The simple belief in a God followed by the rule, "don't start none, won't be none," isn't really the problem.

As for God insurance. There's plenty to pay. Think about it. Most organized religions exclaim that a simple belief in one deity isn't enough. They want your prayers, they want your fears, they want your comforts, they want your desires, they want your soul, they want to shift your beliefs, and they want your dreams. I think that is a lot more expensive than any money I could fork out for Life insurance.

However, to exclude the idea of a "higher power" due to incomplete data is to basically give up science all together. I don't think science has ever ceased at incomplete data before. If so, that would mean we wouldn't know half of what we know now, and we would be content with throwing people volcanoes.
