Subject: Fire Stables

The young girl stood next to a medium sized Gryphon: a hawk/lynx type. It were dark brown all over it's body, except some grey tufts at it's ears, it's short tail and some of the feathers. Eira knew it were a Earth type, and a calm one for a chance. She still shurgged as she remembered she often had to groom the Dark and the Fire type. Mean! "Stand still Mae!" The female Gryph moved her ears back to the voice, but ignored it and kept on her little dance under the touch of the stiff brush the handler were using. It were hard to tell who hated this most: the girl or the beast.

"Dear child..." Ranya's muttered as she walked over, looking at the simple mistakes her daughter did. Forgetting she herself once used to do them... "You can't leave Mae here, the Fire Gryphons will go mad if they see her."

Blushing first at her mother's harsh words, but lifting her head just the same. "I had to," she says fast, trying to cower up her mistake. "She wouldn't follow me to the Earth Stables, so I just..." With that the Gryphon started to move again, spreading her wings and fuzzing her feathers, nibbling after the stiff brush she couldn't stand. "Stand still, Mae!" Eira scwoled. "You're almost done and I'll let you loose again..! Stand still!"
