Marina warns Imanol not to be smug, because she's sitting next to him. She can still get up and move. Imanol staring solmnely at Marina, clasps her hand once again and intently replies "I'm not smug, you're here spending time with me instead of Mauricio, your modelo de pasarela and since you rarely want my company these days, I'm...(his voice trails off). Since at this point, Marina huffily interrupts saying "you spend all your time with your honey barbi and ignore me." At the same time she is saying this, Marina is wriggling her captured hand, trying to loosen Imanol's strong hold, but he doesn't let go. Iman jokes "Jealous Huesito?"(pet nickname for Marina.) Marina scoffs, "Me jealous, don't be funny, ha!ha!" and she squirms even harder to be set free of Imanol's grip, but again, he doesn't let go. Imanol lifts Marina's hand that he has been clasping to his lips and softly kisses the back of it, entreating Marina with these words, "Let's call a truce okay? I don't want to fight with you." Marina melts and she gladly agrees to the truce, saying "I don't want to fight either." Imanol is about to kiss Marina, when the cane of the elderly lady sitting on the other side of Marina, falls against Marina's leg, causing Marina to jump in her seat. Imanol queries "Are you all right Huesito?" Marina replies "Yes,I was just startled that's all." The elderly lady apologizes profusely, though Marina tells her not to worry about it. As the airplane, takes off, the three seatmates settle down in their seats. Imanol tells Marina, she looks a bit green is she airsick?, Marina snaps at him stating, "no, Im just tired, we had to get up early to catch this flight remember?" Imanol reminds her about the truce, Marina smiles wearily and nods her yes to the truce. Among the clouds, Marina's curiousity gets the better of her and questions Imanol about traveling and living in the United States. Imanol recounts his adventures in the States, but he tells her, "Marina I never stopped thinking of you."(all the while,gazing at Marina with the eat up marina with the eyes "look.") Imanol then gently cups Marina's face with his hands and tenderly kisses her. Marina resists the kiss for a moment or two, but then she returns it, her arms stealing around his neck. When the airplane hits air turbulence,(which also wakes the sleeping elderly lady) Imanol and Marina pull apart, Marina gets a little dizzy and Imanol is immediately concerned and wants to know "what's wrong chiquita?, you haven't eaten anything yet I bet." Marina agrees, so Imanol snatches the snacks from the stewardess going up the aisle. And hands them to Marina, imploring her to eat something, that she's way to thin, she argues with him that she's fat. He puts a halt to the argument, by popping a cheese cracker into her mouth and she eats it to please Imanol. Imanol gets her to eat a few more crackers, until lunchtime, he says. The elderly lady begins to talk to Marina about her family(especially about a granddaughter that looks like Marina, so Imanol decides to take a nap. He turns his head to towards the window pane and the sound of Marina's voice lulls him to sleep. "She was sweet, but the elderly lady talked too much and left me too little time to be with Imanol, but now I'm finally free", thinks Marina. Marina turns excitedly to Imanol, only to discover that he was asleep. Frustrated, she punches Imanol's arm lightly, he just turns deeper into his seat. Marina disappointed falls asleep herself. In her sleep, she curls into Imanol's body, her head resting on his left shoulder, her hair tickling his cheek and chin. This tickling sensation finally rouses Imanol from his sleep and then he turns quickly to see Marina's head on his shoulder and her body curled into his and he smiles softly to himself. Imanol can't resist and kisses Marina's hair lightly, saying "Marina my love", Marina stirs slightly and burrows deeper into Imanol's shoulder and body. This widens Imanol's smile. They are reaching Vera Cruz and he gently shakes his "sleeping beauty" awake. Marina wakes disoriented at first, but then comes fully awake as she realizes how she slept and she is mortified. Marina moves jerkily away from Imanol.(People are disembarking from the plane) Imanol tells Marina not to be embarrassed, he didn't mind being a human pillow. In jest, Imanol asks "How did you like your pillow, Marina?" Marina, teasingly replys,"It was rather lumpy." Imanol says "Lumpy huh?" and to get Marina, he grabs the little pillow the airplane uses,
and laughingly swipes at Marina, she laughs and ducks the swipe and she gets ready to swipe at him, when Imanol and Marina hear Mauricio's voice ask "Marina are you ready to
disembark?"...
