Hi Everybody,
Rosemary and I agreed that fan fiction 10 was missing a scene(when Imanol and Marina are going to eat.) from the mini novela in our heads. So we decided to update it. Enjoy.

fan fiction 10
Imanol catches Marina lovingly in his arms from her forward tumble into his lap, because of the ship's rocking. "Are you all right, Marina?" Imanol worriedly asks.(He has braced his legs against the chair and firmly planted his feet on the deck, in order not to pitch out of his chair himself.) "The ocean must be a bit rough, that's why the ship is rolling so." As he says this, Imanol tenderly and gallantly settles an unsteady Marina firmly in her chair, scooting his chair, right next to her's.(By this time, the boat has stopped rocking.) His hand has a tight, secure grip on on Marina's arm. Marina blue eyes flash a gentle look at Imanol's preoccupied face and she replies. "I'm all right, it's just that the ship's motion took me by suprise and I was on the edge of my seat, and so I fell." She winks at him and then kisses him softly on the cheek. Whispering, "Thank you for catching me." Imanol's lips curl into a happy smile and his warm brown eyes twinkle as his hands cup her face, softly saying, "I will always catch you, Huesito."
His voice taking on a teasing tone, he tells Marina, "Now, let's see you were going to order the plate of dirt of a potted plant for me, I'll just have to order you a plate of drool." Marina stares wide eyed as Imanol begins to chuckle, Marina bursts out laughing. As the waiter comes to their table, Marina soft hands clasp Imanol's strong forearms, as she seriously entreats him, "Please let me order for you." Imanol startled, glances intently at Marina's earnest face. He huskily admonishes, "Promise me, no dirt. And I get to order for you. I promise no drool. Deal?" Marina nods her head in the affirmative. Imanol then curiously assents to Marina's entreaty. (The waiter has been patiently waiting all this time.) Marina confidently looking straight into Imanol's golden eyes, her blue eyes sparkling with glee, her hands intertwined with Imanol's hands tells the waiter, "My boyfriend Imanol, would like the shrimp with the hot sauce on the side." Imanol's delight shows on his face as his eyes lock on Marina's face. Marina grins, laughingly saying "Suprise." Imanol caresses her face gently with his hand and gives her a wide smile. It's Imanol's turn to order for Marina. Imanol warmly requests, "my girlfriend, Marina would like the red snapper in mango sauce." Marina's mouth waters in anticipation, for she loves that fish and sauce.)(The waiter leaves.)
Imanol holding Marina's hand within the clasp of his tells Marina, "I love saying my girlfriend, Marina. I've wanted to say it a long time now." Marina, responds, I love saying "my boyfriend Imanol," as she leans into Imanol and kisses him tenderly on the lips. Pablo Montero and the marachis walking back onto the deck, interrupt this tender kiss. Imanol pulls away gently. Pablo and the marichis warm up. Imanol, smoothing Marina's hair wants to know, "Chiquita how did you know about shrimp being my favorite dish?" Marina smiles mischievously and says "That's my secret." Imanol grins and says "I bet your secret's name begins with a B." Marina gurgles joyfully and replies "it might." Marina hugs Imanol saying "Imanol, I love you and I love this cruise just for the two of us. Look", she exclaims as she spots a lighthouse shining its beacon. She turns Imanol's head around gently with her hands so he can glimpse the lighthouse. Marina adds, "Imanol, you're a lot like that lighthouse." Imanol curious, asks, "How so?" Marina says "Your light has been a beacon for my life, whenever I've hit rough waters." "Huesito" says a moved Imanol, as he bends his forehead forward about to kiss her(Marina moving her entire body forward as well.)
But then, the waiter comes out with their food. Marina playfully sits back and tells Imanol jokingingly "I'm hungry, I want to eat my food." Imanol glances up at the waiter and grumbles good humoredly, "great timing, amigo." The lovebirds settle down to eat their meal as Pablo Montero serenades them with a potpourri of his hits. (The waiter thinks to himself that he has never seen a couple more in love than these two, as he silently observes the loving young couple on deck.) Imanol joyfully feeds Marina a shrimp dipped in hot sauce. The spicy sauce sizzles through Marina's tastebuds and she quickly reaches for her glass of water. Imanol chuckles warmly and teases, "Hot was it?" As she swallows the water, Marina makes a face at him. Imanol then bites into his own salsa dipped, succulent shrimp. "Perfect." he comments. (Spicy shrimp is indeed his favorite dish and the salsa's sizzle doesn't bother him at all.) Imanol picking up another shrimp and holding it out to Marina, continues to tease her, "Huesito do you want another?" Marina playfully wrinkles her nose and responds, "No thanks, I don't know how you can eat that spicy sauce. I'll stay with my red snapper." You enjoy your shrimp, my "caballero." then still playful, she adds "but you're going to need an after dinner mint or two, if you want to kiss me later." Imanol jests, "kiss you later? I hadn't thought about it." Then he winks at Marina. Marina shakes her head at him, as if to say "what am I going to do with you? Marina tastes a morsel of her red snapper brushed with mango sauce. And licks her lips, saying "Mmm..delicious,(Imanol thinks, "I wish I could have been that morsel" so he's startled at Marina's "here, boyfriend of mine, have a piece of red snapper in mango sauce." Marina then spears a piece of the savory fish with a clean fork and happily feeds it to Imanol. Imanol agrees with Marina that its very good. They both go back to eating their respective dishes.
(Both, Imanol's and Marina's face are luminous with love.) The light shining in their eyes, rival the twinkling diamond bright stars, sparkling in the velvet night sky of Vera Cruz. A silvery cresent moon also watches over Imanol and Marina, as they finish their meal.
The lovebirds are lost in a world of their own. They only have eyes for one another, neither of them have really noticed the moon and stars yet.
Once their meal has been cleared from the table, Imanol stands, courteously pulling Marina's chair out, so she can stand. He extends his arm out gallantly to Marina. Imanol's face full of love asks her,"Marina stroll around the deck?"
