Well, good luck to you and your new clan, Reinhardt. This is the first time that i am happy that Myrd was faster than me typing 'iīll be your patron' when you reached holtburg for the first time. Loosing a vassal isnīt easy when he was no exploiter and buff begger, or iff they brake right after they are a bit independent. well, at least you stay in game and let me continue calling you a gimp :)
And iff you are the monarch let us all swear a mule under you, to spamm you with beggs every time you log on, only to let you know that beeing a monarch isnīt that easy Torlyn letīs it look like ;)
Well, the reason for my post is not the leaving Reinhardt. Iīve been asked what i would like to change in our clan. Iīm not a big frind of huge changes. In my oppinion a clan is better when he grows on his own, and not beeing organized. I use to organize MY fellowers a little bit, together with my vassals, so they do with their vassals. We have a little xp-chain which works good for us. Soon we may wanna make a little rang chain too, but only for US! I feel responsable for my fellowers, and i donīt wanna have a huge numbers of fellowers that i never have seen before. Thatīs why i love this little Allegiance. I am one of 300. Sounds better than one of 3000. So iff you urgently need a HUGE xp-chain, good luck. Just donīt expect to be set on the top. To start one with your friends may be lesser xp, but you have more fun with those. Also leaving a Patron/Clan always has a little taste of dissapointment, and often alot Bad Blood is the result. I think to keep those friends and hunt in fellows with them is better xp. This goes not to the new beginners in clan. I often have vassals which are my vassal for one day and brake when i am not online the next time they play, i donīt even ask them 'Why ...?' anymore.
I have alot friends in game, and often i was asked iff i would leave this 'tiny' clan and join them, but never thought about it. Here are my Roots, here i have most of my friends and the most important: here i have my Patron!
'Ra needs a Patron? Or he needs the help of Torlyn?' you ask? Guess i can say 'No, i donīt really need them anymore', exspecially since i am higher in lvl than my Patron (YAY, I MADE IT*g). But they have been there when i needed a Patron, and Torlyn always was there when i needed help (only one time i had to call him in 68 levels. I know gimps who did it more often (*hint*)), or he gave me some usefull stuff, WITHOUT let me begging for it!
Somethink different: some people in the clan are on the best way on my squelch-list. Every Razzier can be sure that i will help him/her to recover or on a quest iff i am able to help. what i donīt like,... no, what i really hate is to begg and ask me stupid and useless stuff. There are differences between asking 'Ra, i have a corpse, can you buff me for recover?' (Iff i am not buisy with helping vassals/friends answer is YES, SURE!, or GIMME 5 MINUTES!) and asking 'Ra, i am bored, can you buff me for level up faster?' (of course you can ask me that, but iff you ask all the time donīt wonder iff my answer is LOL, FUCK YOU!)
Donīt misunderstand that, iff i am on tower and make nothing i will buff you for hunt. I just get pissed iff you donīt say 'THX RA'. happened often enough!
And what i really really hate to be spammed with buff begs during i have a discussion with my friend Mr. Diamond Golem. Iff i donīt respond right 2 seconds after your question leave me some time. I try to respond every request. But donīt ask me iff i will bring you a single taper to MT Naipenset which is missing you for a recall and you are too scared to use the @lifestone (donīt lough, that happened!)
Next point is respect of stuff that contains to others. Iff you are asked to help mule, just help mule. Donīt let the owner start to spamm you with 'gimme back, NOW!!!'. Iff you help mule you only hold or whatch it a moment. That doesenīt mean you should make a round in sub or run from Holtburg to Mayoi for showing it around!
That brings me right to the next point: iff you want me to help you mule: DONīT TELL ME, ASK ME!!! Iff you need buffs for recover/hunt/whatever: ASK ME, DONīt TELL ME TO DO!!!
Iff Strobe tells me to hold or do somethink it is somethink different. Thats the way we talk to each other all the time, and i know that i have his respect like he has mine. But iff YOU are not my friend like Strobe is, or Ragnar, talk to me with RESPECT. Iff you donīt respect Ra you wonīt have his respect. And not beeing respected by Ra means to run against a wall of ignorance when you ask him anythink! It is a long way to end up on my squelch list, but be sure it is a one way ticket. That doesenīt mean you have to be scared to ask me somethink, just think about it a little bit, PLEASE!!!
Iīve always been proud when someone told me 'hey, i know your monarch. he helped me out...', or also 'hey, i know some of your allegiance, cool guys...'. Those moments got rare, and i already heard not that good news about allegiance members. I remember a time when our clan had 2 rules, donīt they exist anymore? Teach your vassals in those rules, and donīt just look on the xp. Donīt be scared to release a vassal (well, KICK HIM/HER OUT!) iff he isnīt worth the work you spent on him/her.
I will stay a Razzier as long as i will play this game, and i will always be proud to be a Razzier.
Yes, Blach broke with his Patron, but there never was the idea to join another clan!
I already moved away my mules from Holtburg, our tower. Please donīt let me remove my Presence form the tower, will be hard to find another place to hang around.
