ok, another 'Ra's point of view' :)

i don�t see any problem in having a patron in lower lvl, i mean : whatch your level! do you really need a person who will be there when you are in trouble? every person which got to lvl 30, maybe 35 ON HIS OWN, NOT POWERED should know the game enough to be kinda independed. or he should know enough people in higher levels who can help out, too.
iff i would not play 3 different characters i would have overleveld my patron already, but i never would take anoter. i just have to take on the screenshots when Ra was a little lvl 15. there i see armor which my patron gave me. there i see situations where my patron was with me. there i see situations when blach became my friend!!
not long ago i was a fellower of madison, and i was asked whom i will follow when she is monarch. all i had to say is that blach will stay my patron, no matter what way he wanna go. he teached me in sooo many things when i had no idea how to play. now i am totally independent and don�t rerally need a patron, but i am 100% loyal to him.
for me it is lame to leave a person which did alot for makeing the start more easy (that goes not to those tash was talking about, more to those who left me after they had no use for me anymore, or got the stuff they needed. one left me after i powered his extreme char to a point where he can fight on his own and went back to his old patron. this person is number one on my squelch list now).

well, what i wanted to say is that those who think about a new patron: think back to the days when torlyn was more MONARCH than a friend which you better not disturb in trouble(*g), think on those days when you needed a new hunting spot because drudges became to little and who has shown it to you, think on who teached you the game, ...!!!
iff you have a good patron you will never have the idea of changing again, and iff you cannot remember that once the patron was the greatest in game you should have taken a new one long time ago.

this was for the lvl 45+ gimps, not for those which are new to the clan :)
