The event happened at 11:50am on 19th October 2005, Our inspector Leo Lai went to the above address and carried out the compliance inspection. At that time, Leo Lai was staying at the common staircase on Roof Floor Mr Yu came and asked him who was him and what was the purpose for was visiting, Leo Lai answered him that he was the Assistant Building Surveyor of L C surveyors Ltd and showed him his name card, but Mr Yu queried that he didn’t show any ID card or documents issued by BD as well as other statutory departments for arrangement of inspection.

Then, Mr Yu called the police for seeking assistance. After around 5-10 minutes, a policeman(Mr Chan) arrived, Mr Chan explained that the definition of private area was somewhere which was being locked within the premises, since the common staircase was in the area was being locked, in this case, nobody should enter these areas/places before obtaining approval from the landlord/owner.

The policeman said the legal right of claim for damages was decided by the owner, Mr Yu agreed to let our inspector went but he warned our inspector that he should bring all the valid identification documents and should get approval by any one of the owners next time, otherwise, he would reserve his legal right for any nuisance caused.

Although MR Wong(Metro's boss) is good,but he said he can't give me HKD8000 per month,and inform me it can be very busy working in Metro World when interview
