‡Minx of sunrise coloration soon landed 'pon the frigid terra. Opalite orbs, fiery in tone, gazed at the welcomed sight. Scales glinted in the harsh winter light. Two horns, gazelle like, swept back from her diadem, forbiddingly dangerous. Maw split, releasing a melodiac roar. Oh she was home. The last time she was here, she had just turned adult. Beautiful and smart she was, but also she was young and naive. Her beauty now radiated as did her wisdom. Though only a few years had been spent of her life, so much had been learned. And also something had been given.‡

°•A black figure had followed the brightly colored minx. Gracefully he landed behind her form. Forward he moved, beneath her wing and staring with amethyst orbs out at this new land. He knew nothing of this place, only that Aurora screamed in her sleep, wishing for this place. So they both had come. He was only half her size, but that was easily accounted for. He was merely the age of two and the her only son.•°
