A loud, annoying beep sounds throughout the Infirmiry, echoing through deserted rooms, and repeating itself twice more as the patients and staff turn their attention upon the sourceless noise. A moment of silence, and a calm, automated but quite realistic voice replaces the attention catching bleep.
"This is a Tanari weather warning. All Alliance members please remain within an enclosed building. The planet is experiencing the effects of a large storm system to the north; the colony is in threat of high wind and sand damage and flooding. All spacecraft have been grounded. Please remain where you are until further information can be gathered. Thank You."
The voice blips off, leaving the building silent, but for the howling wind outside.
