Her fighter rises as the lasers are fired, one of the beams deflecting off the shields covering her craft. Reaching out, Kailia flips a switch up, readying the more powerful disabling cannons. The electricity in the blast would short circuit the other ship's systems, each successive shot disabling more and more circuits. If the enemy craft had shields, it would take only seven direct hits for the other ship to become completely disabled and crash. Three for the ship's shields, one each for the weapons, targeting and guidance systems, and finally, one for propulsion. In a practiced movement, she drops her shields and squeezes off two shots at the attacking plane, her shields fully in place less than two seconds later. A slight smile still in place, she watches for the effects of the shots::
