"Might there be a problem here, ladies?" He questions intrusively, slapping his small, hand-held weapon into its holster inadvertantly. He eyes Toireasa stiffly. Her words had molded the entire operation beyond its perameters, and sculpted them into a tight, volatile clan of bandits. Crude as their nature might be, they certainly weren't the ancients that she had made them out to be.

"It's been my experience that the Alliance is open to any and all help that can be trusted." He fingers his weapon cagely. "Since were only just starting to get back on our feet, I'd say we'll need all the help we can get. The Fed's have given us a hard blow over these past few months. We can't turn away all free service that comes knocking at our door."

He crouches at the door of the shelter, reaching a rough, dirt-creased hand through the entrance. "I'm Carter Audauris. Not the president, but the Alliance isn't fighting for a dictatorship, now, is it?" He smiles warmly. "As far as I'm concerned, you're welcome to join the party. If anyone gives you any heat, I'll take the blame."
