The cut of the ATV's engine somehow rumbles above the clanking of metals and distant shouting of the workers, rousing suspicion in his mind and causing him to form pictures of the shadowed figure that had tumbled off of the machine. His hand flies instinctively to his holster. He struggles to see through the blinding darkness, the light of his fire proving futile at long range. He crouches warily, cocking his gun almost silently. Hopefully he could rely on his hearing to guide his sights toward the inadvertent intruder...

"Raven?" He questions the darkness, watching intently as the lithe figure begins to take shape in the nimble light of the crackling flame. He snaps his weapon back into place, forcing himself to keep from running toward the familiar presence. "What's happened? Where's Tsunami and the others?" He rambles impatiently, stopping himself at first sight of her expression. "More to the point, we've got a couple of new recruits for the Alliance." He nods toward the fire, an occasion lick leaping into the nearby sand, the coals blazing with an inviting glow. "Why don't you sit down and take a break? I'll get you a some tea." He smiles warmly, motioning toward a sturdy scrap of debris serving as a chair.
