I've got background in both, but mainly engineering. And that other guy, I think his name was Chase, if he managed to get back, is an engineer. He'll probably be more suited to a vehicle-improvement task than I. However, if you want the computer systems improved...

I also know mechanics, but to a lesser degree. I could help repair the vehicles and such. Just the basics, and some more advanced stuff for ATVs and the other vehicles I deal with often, including the more common types of ships, mainly basic fighters and shuttles... But most unusual ships are a stretch of skills for me to do specialized repairs on anything but the computer systems, but I probably figure out how to mend anything in that spaceport if I really had to... Might take me a while, though... Place me where you will, I don't really mind wherever I manage to go...
~finally finished, she falls silent once more and waits for an assignment to do, whether it be repairs or spywork as potential plans flit through her head for either one as she mentally reviews techniques, useful devices and methods for both repairs and spying...~
