Subject: Way of the Stewards elections

It was a restless night. I tossed and turned in fitful slumber. The full moon shone brightly through my window, the hot air was being tempered by a gentle breeze.

Things were changing in the guild, Dana had called our former Guildmistress to be her High Priestess, The Avatar's Guard were forming to keep sacred those lands precious to our Goddess and to protect the innocent, and the Way's were to re-dedicate themselves in service to our Lady and their new Lords.

With all of these things to consider, I feared I would not get any rest, but suddenly a deep calm came upon me and I slipped into a peaceful sleep. No sooner had I fallen asleep, than a dream came upon me. I heard the voice of our goddess speaking to me.

'Velor Farwalker', She called, 'you have served my children and me for many months now and have chosen to the Way of the Wolf. While you have hunted well with your brothers and sisters, I have requested my High Priestess to present you to the others for consideration of Lord of the Stewards.'

'Your treasure hunting skills will prove invaluable in supplying our family with that it needs to uphold the virtues and protect those in need. I have watched the progress of your guild brother Maglorius in mastering the skills of the scribe and know that, while he is now a member of the Avatar's guard, he can offer assistance to the Stewards way.'

'I also know that, while he has not yet dedicated himself to my service, your companion Bunya is on the road to becoming a master craftsman who can supply everything that Maglorius cannot. I hope he finds within himself the compassion and dedication to embrace the code of The Danaan Rangers and the way of the Stewards, for he too could serve us well. Rest well now Velor Farwalker, for there is much work to do. Trust that your brothers and sisters will have the wisdom to decide who best shall serve as leaders of the Ways.'

And so I slipped back into a deep and peaceful slumber, and have awoken feeling refreshed and renewed.

So as per our goddesses instruction, my name has been put up as a nominee for Lord of the Stewards and I would be honoured to accept the title if you feel me worthy. In my time with TDR I have seen little of the Stewards, and would do all in my power to ensure we are an active and exciting part of the guild.

If you see fit to elect me for this role, I would require the co-operation of all those with artisan skills in the guild to do what they could to ensure we have the supplies we need, and any appointed Advisor and Quartermaster I would wish to work closely with to ensure the Stewards bring the best contribution they can to the guild.
