Sorry this is gonna be a bit long winded and not directly answer the question, but I'd like to clear up a few things first.

I have proposed several ideas and organised several events in the past, which have failed due to lack of attendence. Pugs has had similar occurrences with his scenarios. Organising events such as these requires a not insignificant amount of effort. Therefore I have 2 comments to make.

1. If you indicate attendance to a funtion, please ensure you can actually make it, or at least let the organiser know if you can't

2. Organisers, try and target your events so they will work with smaller groups to avoid disappointment, or at least state clearly up front the minimum number of people required to proceed.

Ok, the other mitigating circumstance at the moment is the rapidly approaching Publish 16. This currently has a lot of people occupied preparing for it, and is going to change a lot of things in UO and people may have to adjust their play style to compensate for it.

So I think we will have to tread lightly once it comes in if we want to throw ourselves into any deadly situations.

Having said all that, I am still keen to at least try out my Champion Strike Team for a while once it comes in. This will be an elite team (maybe a few different teams) designed specifically to take on the new Champion spawn in Felucca. It may end up being unplayable if the PK's and griefers decide all this new stuff is a fun way to get their jollies, especially for the first week or so untiul everyone has had their play. I will post more details of my proposal in the near future I hope.

Following on from Pugs proposal for a Celebration day, that could still happen, or we could hold a Trash & Treasure market where people come and buy/sell/swap their goods, have a bar-b-que, a few events such as Imp wrestling, Tailors vs Smiths crafting race, Alchemists vs Scribes crafting race etc, scavenger hunt etc etc, the list is endless

On the hunting front, I'd like to see an Ilshenar expeditition. I realise not everyone can get there, and we need to see how many people this effects and maybe run a parallel event for those who can't make it.

Given my impending nerf, treasure hunts will be much harder for me, so I'm willing to run regular t-hunts for those interested, although they are not always that exciting if nothing spawns.

Or we could run a house decorating contest. 2 teams line up and have to decorate a room in somebody's house within (eg) 30 minutes, with everyone voting on the result.

Well, that'll do for now. If yuou need more ideas, let me know.

If you think these are all lame too, let me know or I'll waste everyone's time making similar suggestions.

Velor
