"Ahh.. Master Maglorius?" a timid voice queried just behind him.

"Hmmmm...?" Maglorius reluctantly looked up from the book he was studying.

"Ahh.." the short boy looked nervous... "the head librarian would like to talk to you when you have time," the boy made a small wave in the general direction.

"Ok" Keeping his thumb marking the page, Maglorius headed over toward the head of the Lyceaum.

"Hail Maglorius of the Danaan Rangers, I have a piece of disturbing news that I hope you and your fellow guildmates can help us with. Over the last few months a number of texts recently written about how the plague was created by the meer and then eventually destroyed. At first we put this down to absent-minded patrons, it happens quite frequently and are usually returned, but none of these have been. Because of this, we set a small spell on the remaining books on the plague. Yesterday one of those books went missing. The spell we placed upon it acts as a beacon and so we now know the location of this book. What concerns us is that the book is located deep in dungeon Deceit. This bodes ill and we hope that you and the rangers could uncover what these books are being used for."

"That doesn't sound good." Maglorius thought for a while. "We certainly don't need some evil cabal of mages creating a second plague." He paused again. "I'll pass this information onto our Huntmaster, but I am confident that he will pursue this matter most vigoursly. We shall keep you informed of any progress we make."


Hey guys. This is the start of a new scenario. It'll happen this Sat at our usual hunting time. (12:15 Sydney time) The old one (missing anke and candle of love) is not yet completed and will continue other weeks as it can. The following weekend I have planned the "Celebration of new HQ" event, so volunteer to be a part of things! :)

The Monday night hunts will be pretty informal for I am not able to find time to create two scenarios a week so we'll just go on a dungeon crawl or hunt through Ilshenar or something on Monday nights. It'll basically be a time for the guild to just get together and have some fun. Occasionally I'll have an event planned however.

This coming Monday, I have tenuously planned a "Shame dash for cash." We had one of these a while ago and it was a lot of fun. Should enough people show we'll split up into a few groups and see which team can score the cash first. More details later.. right now I've got to get to bed.
