In my early days in UO I had my share of good and bad encounters with other people. I formed a number of friendships but the first that really lasted was my friendship with Devoir. She and I travelled the lands together for some time until Dev, always more adventuresome than I, started looking for guilds to join. I had the idea of forming a guild based upon the virtues to combat the evil in the land. The turning point for me was Dev nagging me to read TDR's website and witnessing TDR's members firsthand when Fazz was helping a new TDR member retrieve his gear lost to a looter. I, being quite trusting at the time, had handed half of the new members stuff to the looter after he told me he was his friend. I then realised that the guild I had wanted to create already existed in TDR, I reluctantly downloaded ICQ later that day and applied for membership.
