Subject: Arms and Armour Auction Update

Greetings,

For those who have not heard, I will soon be holding an Auction of Weapons, Armour and Shields (plus 1 or 2 mystery items).

Weapons will be primarily Force and Power, and lots of silver, and any Vanquishing items I find between now and auction day.

Armour and shields will be hardening, fortification and invulnerability.

I will post a list of items later this week, and hope to hold the auction within the next two weeks.

As there will be over 50 items for auction, I will allow 1 pre-bid for each item on the list which can ICQ'd to me. On auction day, the starting bid of every item will be 500 or this pre-bid, whichever is higher and there will be no reserve.

Those who attended the treasure hunt on friday already have their tokens for a free item. Every item sold for over 1000 gold will also receive a second mystery item for free - could be a power crook, could be a double axe of elemental ban. There will be other surprises for those attending as well - no one should go away empty handed.

So tell your friends - all are welcome, however seating at the venue is restricted, so I'd appreciate an idea of numbers from those interested.

I would prefer to have it at night, starting at 9:30 Sydney time unless this is a real problem for a lot of people. Let me know your preferences for any specific day. More details will follow later in the week.
