Subject: Candle of Love stolen! (reply please)

Dear Lady Talur,

The Candle of Love was stolen from Empath Abbey last night. We captured a man who was identified as the thief later that night and he claimed to have been hired by the leader of a band of human mages who maintain a base in the depths of the dungeon Shame.

This theft, hot on the heels of the loss of the Avatar's anke have set many people around the castle to muttering about impending doom. The people are forgetting the lesson our Avatar taught us in his final appearence. We are not powerless, together we are stronger even than the Avatar.

Seek out the candle and return it to Empath Abbey quickly or these thefts will undo the final work of the Avatar. I trust the Danaan Rangers with this task for your belief in yourself is not so easily shaken as others I might have sent.
