Yeah, I don't know how a poet can love their craft and not enjoy the masters. While you're looking, don't forget Maya Angelou, Gates, Whitman, or even some unorthodox poets...
even Peewee Herman penned some good work.

BTW..you mentioned Yeates...One of the things I'd love to do before I die is a pub crawl across Dublin...going to every Inn he used to frequent to write. That's my idea of fun. :)
