I see what I see, can't really explain it more than that, and I see it in other's work as well. The subconscious, the muse is a fickle creature, you never know where the words come from or what you see in other's work. Kind of like the one recent poem of mine you read, that you said you got something different each time you read it.

I have a saying that, "the author, the artist, is never more than 50% of the piece. The audience, AH, now there is the key, Never more, nor less, than 50% of we."

It's the same with songs, reading the Bible, what have you, things change in life, our experiences, moods, frame of mind, perspective, every time we read something, hear it, see it, it means something different, we see something different. That's the real measure of good writing, is if it always brings something new to the reader. Otherwise we'd just be journalists.
