Yeah I saw the star of India when I was a kiddo in the Smithsonian in DC and some other some such big rock. The Smithsonian has the biggest rock collection outside of the Grand Canyon. :P

I've been to the British Natural History Museum twice, I recall being disappointed. I think I expected to see more dinosaurs and less Mummys behind glass. However they did have some nice big pieces of Assyrian Gates, Babylonian walls etc and I got to see the Rosetta Stone and my beloved flood tablet from the Epic of Gilgamesh (which forever changed my perception of religion) All rocks of course :) come to think of it, maybe they should just call that place the Big Rock Collection, add some lasers and disco lights and draw more younger people, maybe a Mummys by Moonlight exhibit for the romance.
