She was certainly doing an amazing job of taking his mind off things, and any guilt he felt was instantly forgotten. She kept going until the job was finished before she drew back up, pressing a kiss to his cheek before she encouraged him to take a shower with her - by the time they were both dressed and heading out the door it was closer to nine thirty then when she was supposed to leave and be at work. She was laughing at something Marc said as they headed to the elevator - not even noticing the man down the hall look twice at them - he was new, hadn't lived their long and if Marc had looked back he would have recognized Kiernan who was standing, in shock, watching his good friend with the girl down the hall.
