Indeed the mares should befriend one another. The herd will become stonger with friendship and trust. Steps forward, she does, this dark mare. Offering first her friendship. The only thing between them now besides the ground below them and air before them, are their insticts not to trust. Follow your instincts, you must, but deny trust, and you may deny much more. Celestial will build this friendship between them on truth, as she knows it may not last forever, but all it has to be for now is true, it shall build from there.
