The dark ebony femmina watches the rest of the herd consideringly. She tosses her raven mane, blue highlights coming through on her midnight pelt in the sunlight. She looks to the three mares she had seen, Anubis, Love in Idleness, and Destiny's Saviour.
Anubis was strong and of dominant nature, a secure choice as a guard for the herd. She would let no intruder pass.
She knew very little of the mare Love in Idleness except she seemed to be of a not quite so dominant nature as Anubis.
Destiny's Saviour she knew less of, but felt one thing already, this mare hadn't shown any possibility of any true intelligence to the rest of the herd, and chances were she was going to get hit hard for it.
She snorted and and lowered her regal dial to the ground, ivory incisors cutting away at the grass as her thoughts trailed away...*
