Give me the branch address too.

The drainer you want Auntie Christine to bring. You are right, Argos don't have it. But you may try to visit department store selling kitchen utensils, there must have one. Or when you walk in the High Street, some store selling kitchen things, household accesories, there should have one.

I went to see Grandpa yesterday and he is so pleased that you had rung him before you went to the Airport. See, just take a minute which makes him feel happy. As you know he is visited by many of us.

£6612. OK I will transfer the money to Auntie. Don't worry. You may ask your friend who studies at Salford to post you an application form. To go thru UCAS costs another £6. But no cost for individual college application form.

You don't understand why the WTC accident did affect the world's economy so bad. Let me explain as follows:

The WTC are centre for most top executives of top companies like insurance companies, stock exchange, unit trust firms, overseas representative offices. Many top smart people died from this sudden collapse of buildings. Many families lost their breadwinners. More than 300 fire fighters and policemen sacrifice their lives for others. Their family mourn their love one and faced the lost of their financial supporter in the family. These people tended to buy less and so do other Amercians. US companies suspended ther order of goods from China or other part of the world. So factories face out losses of businees. Stock exchange went down after the accident especially airlines. Cathay Pacific's share has fallen to HK$6.00 per share. People are afraid of lossing all their invest so they sold their shares immediately. US people tend to stay at home rather than go to visit overseas because they are afraid their plane may be hi-jacked. Not many travel, tourism business go down which affect those tourist guide, shops, manufacturer of tourist souvenirs, restaurants. So you can imagine the link of this downfall busines. That is why I always urge you to read the world news and watch out the change of economy worldwide.

Hope you understand a bit. We are lucky. So far your dad's job is still steady but universities in HK are implementing to offer early retirment or automatic redundancy offer to cut down the expenses. If situation gets worse, at least you can work in England but situation is not bad so far. All you need to do is to study hard and watch news - both local (England and the world)

You are 21. People would see you as mature adult. So leap before you jump.

Mum
