Booking flight to England on 4 Jan or around s very difficult. Your specific 2 airlines do not allow booking between 2-6 Jan.
I have booked (but on waiting list) of the following:

Singapore Airline -
Depart 2 Jan SQ1 0800 arrive Singapore 1145 (confirmed). Depart 2 Jan SQ320 1240 arrive Heathrow 1850 (waitlisted)

Malaysia airline
Depart 1 Jan MH73 1435 arriving KL 1820 (waitlisted)
Depart 1 Jan 2350 MH2 arriving Heathrow 0555 (waitlisted)

I will try to book other airlines today.
