Subject: Sunday plan

Leo,

I will cancel your Sunday phone plan on Saturday. Auntie Christina has gone home (Worcester Park) and already rang to tell she was safe. We had a wonderful time together in HK. I took her to SabuSabu to have Japanes steam bowl while you were ringing to ask for Vodaphone, remember. She enjoyed the food very much. Before we went to this restaurant, we bought some fried chestnut and walked towards TST seafront. While we sat down and cracked the chestnut, it was time to lock the roof top by the seafront. So we sat down in front of Arts Centre and chatted until 11:45pm. Joceyln warned that she would lock up the door and wouldn't let me enter home (joke!). Next day I took half day off and went to have aftertea in the new HK Convention & Exhibition Centre. The salad was very nice and I will take you there when you are next in HK. We took a taxi to City Hall, Central where Christina tried to recognise the buildings -some she can't recall because they are very new. We walked to the Pier No. 3 where there is a roof top cafe and sat down until 7pm. The temperature was cool down and you know, there is a building the color will change every 10 minutes. So it was very relaxing sitting and talking especially the sea wind was so comfortable. Then we took the Star Ferry to TST and took bus back home to have dinner with Joceyln. After it, we chatted until 11:30pm and were so reluctant to say good-bye. I promise if war is over I probably go to England next year.

I know you will get used to life at Greenwich because you don't ring as often as 4 years ago. That is very good. Money is another question, to learn to be independent is the most important of all. Hope you enjoy everyday like me working in the Hong Kong Institute of Education. My two female bosses are very nice. You know Sylvia (my manager since British Council) and Dr Lo (a lady) who lives in Block A Galaxia. World is small, isn't it.
