Mournfully, she closed the book, remembering the number 237. Going up to the magical doorway, she thought, Guest room. Stepping through the threshold, Thayet crossed the polished floor and summoned her trunk full of clothes. Pulling out a crimson Kimono embroidered with golden pheonixes. She pulled out a gold wrap, which she tied around her waist. Lastly came the came the gold slippers, the soles made of soft leather. All of the garments that she wore were made of silk. They were some gifts from a Prince across the sea somewhere who wished for her hand in marraige, but her parents, much to Thayet's relief, refused to let her marry the prat. Wondering if there was one, she went through the doorway, asking it for the dinning room. When she did, Thayet found herself face to face with Katie.
