Subject: 94 firebird engine swapping

I've got a 94 firebird with a 3.4 engine, and apparently a transmission that's way underpowered (acceleration w/o the 2nd gear start sucks).... can anyone tell me how much it'd cost to put a bigger engine in? a 305 or 350 is what i was thinking. e-mail me or just post a reply if you can help, thanks!

it may be possible to swap in a 305 or 350, but it would be pretty difficultmaking all the copmuter stuff work would be pretty tricky, you may just have to ditch the computer copmleetly. for the cash, you might look into an lt1 or an ls1, everything is there that needs to be, so hooking up the computer stuff would be a bit easier.
