HSV & Corsa Coupe's US Adopition

By now all of you that are in the motor scene should be aware of these fire breathing beast's that are now common place here on our roads in OZ. If not you should be as there is a slight possibility that on top of your GTO being a rebadged Monaro (Holden's Coupe) you may be lucky enough to get a few HSV/Corsa spec vesrion's. For all of you Yanks that are complaining about having to cop in imported car to replace your icon being that of the GTO, your complaints should of starter years ago when the US moved from that proven formular being taht of V8, rear wheel, manual transmissions.The Holden & HSV models that chew up our tarmac's here are of that formular thanks to your(Yank)motor the LS1.So when i see people on this sight bitching about import's well its only realy 2/3rds in import. I belive that after the delivery of these Coupes's/GTO's you will thanking Bob Lutz. Becuase if he didn't come down under and sample our product then the GTO would simply be three letter's that you dad used to say and associate with a fast car. All i can say is wait until you see the faces on your opponents at the street lights when you blow their doors off. Keeping in mind that us Aussie's have had these things for years now and i belive that it is now time to share.
