Victory to the Monaro in its 1st Race

Just a quick one guys to congratulate the Holden Monaro(GTO) and its crew on its first 24 hour race and its first victory in such a gruling event being that of Bathurst. Not only did the Monaro win well it won by 23 laps(6.2km per lap) to the US made Mosler, third place was taken by a M3 BMW. It was such a sweat victory because many people were more than sure that the Monaro would not finish the race as it was only built 5 months ago and had not really been tested to the degree that almost all other entrants had been. The win didn't come without its dramas as the fuel tank had to be replaced through the night and there was diff problems as well. Though to everyones suprise the Monaro roared back to life and received a heros welcome as it left its garage and got back onto the track. So i take my hat of to the boys from Holden and Gary rodgers motosport as they "they came they saw and they kicked their ass" well done i,m proud to be an aussie.
