I was also shocked and dismayed at the foreign, bland look of the GTO. I am a big car enthusiast, not only in power, and driveabillity, but looks too. The lines and looks of a car say a lot, and are important (And no Monaro/GTO, what it is like to "drive and own" is not the only question to ask). The new GTO has the front end of a grand prix, and the rest of the car looks like an enlarged honda. It makes me wonder if they spent more then a day working on the outside styling. It does have a decent amount of power, and they did make the right choice for the engine configuration (I.E. front eng RWD) In conclusion, the name GTO stands for power, and the looks of a bas ass machine. The power part was done right, but this new car looks timid. It screams grocery getter.
