Indeed, Lois. We are accused of mocking, but the CofC leadership mocks us, and insults our intelligence at every turn. Is it legitimate to illegally ordain avowed homosexuals to the priesthood until the leading quorums are stacked, and then summon those quorums to "decide" whether homosexuality is acceptable or not?

Remember the hue and cry over the plan to hire a contractor from a Persian gulf state to oversee antiterrorist operations in U.S. ports? This is much worse. The contractor merely happened to be from a hostile Middle East environment. The CofC version of it would be like deliberately hiring Al Quaeda to oversee operations.

The U.S. is a Democracy, at least for now, so the plan to hire the contractor fell through. The CofC is a dictatorship
run by ecclesiastical pirates, so its plans are moving full speed ahead.

Remember, that's how Hitler consolidated his control over Germany. He burned down the Reichstag, and then had Nazi operatives refuse to seat delegates from other parties when the legislature met at an alternate location. If only "your people" get to vote, the outcome is assured beforehand. Every dirty political trick used by every underhanded dictator over the last 100 years has been employed to railroad things through the CofC. Even the name change was done that way.

George
