Journeying Toward a USA National Conference
BY THE USA APOSTOLIC TEAM

Q: Has church leadership already determined the outcome on issues of same-gender marriage and ordaining people in same-gender relationships?

A: No, church leadership is committed to discernment leading to the USA National Conference. This process will include spiritual practices, dialogue, scripture reflection, and study of credible resources that provide multiple perspectives on human sexuality and healthy, faithful, and committed relationships.

I don't believe that. Does anybody reading this believe that?

J.W. Windland is the man who said that Christianity’s monopoly of salvation was over. He has also been a guest speaker at a GALA (Gay and Lesbian Acceptance) retreat in Ontario.

AUTHENTIC CHRISTIAN MISSION IN A MULTIFAITH WORLD

"Christianity's monopoly on salvation is over."

"Non-Christian traditions must be recognized for what they are – fully franchised systems of salvation with practitioners as decent and devoted as any other, with scholars as intelligent and gifted as any other, with members as whole and holy as any other. Any model of authentic Christian mission in a multifaith world must acknowledge that"

"We also enjoyed the classes. I particularly remember how J.W. Windland shared objects and rites from many religious traditions. As a member of the church’s Task Force on Homo-sexuality and the Church, I really appreciated the opportunity to receive input and suggestions."

The Book of Mormon, Ether 1

30 And he had sworn in his wrath unto the Brother of Jared, that whoso should possess this land of promise, from that time henceforth and forever, should serve him, the true and only God, or they should be swept off when the fullness of his wrath should come upon them.
31 And now we can behold the decrees of God concerning this land, that it is a land of promise, and whatsoever nation shall possess it, shall serve God, or they shall be swept off when the fullness of his wrath shall come upon them.
32 And the fullness of his wrath cometh upon them when they are ripened in iniquity; for behold, this is a land which is choice above all other lands; wherefore he that doth possess it shall serve God, or shall be swept off; for it is the everlasting decree of God.
33 And it is not until the fullness of iniquity among the children of the land, that they are swept off.
34 And this cometh unto you, O ye Gentiles, that ye may know the decrees of God, that ye may repent, and not continue in your iniquities until the fullness come, that ye may not bring down the fullness of the wrath of God upon you, as the inhabitants of the land have hitherto done.
35 Behold, this is a choice land, and whatsoever nation shall possess it, shall be free from bondage, and from captivity, and from all other nations under heaven, if they will but serve the God of the land, who is Jesus Christ who hath been manifested by the things which we have written.

That goes for Canada too.
