Syncretistic religions are usually cults, John. When I try to read any doctrinal material from the CofC, now that it has become a velcro nerf ball that picks up every religious idea that sticks to it (except orthodoxy,) it sounds like this:

The boy stood on the burning deck
His fleece was white as snow.
Oh who hath done this evil deed?

You don't have to help the Devil laugh, John. He is supreme at it. He can do it while flipping a chain.
