Subject: John Wesley's Mission To the Indians

When John Wesley was a member of the Anglican priesthood, he traveled to Georgia to do missionary work among the Indians there. Although he believed that the Indians were desperately wicked and needed to repent and be converted, he had no success.

When he went back to England, he discussed the matter with his superior in the hierarchy. His superior asked him, "Do you know who Jesus Christ is?"

Wesley replied. "Of course. He's the Saviour of the World."

His counselor replied, "Yes, but has he saved you?"

It is impossible to transmit the Ol' Time Religion without catching it first. That may be the reason that the various missions to convert the wicked cannibals on this forum have failed thus far.

George
