Hi Sean.

Your notion of "relativity" is completely inapplicable to Christian doctrine.

Can you clarify for us what position you are taking, so that we can evaluate whether you are serious, or just jerking us around.

Since the free and open practice of homosexuality has not been acceptable to any mainline religion (except, perhaps, Buddhism) since religion began, the notion that homosexuality is on the table for Christians, or civilized moderates of any sort is completely wrong-headed. Comparing it to something like slavery, or polygamy, or casino gambling just doesn't wash.

Even the Community of Christ has removed the names of some of its apostles from its website, because it knows that the societies in which these apostles are assigned do not accept homosexuality, and (unlike the "bigoted, small minded, and evil" population on this forum) try to kill homosexuals whenever they can.)

If you want to take something that isn't yours by right, you find the person who will offer the least resistance, and then you take what you want. That is what is being done in Western societies, which do not have the intestinal fortitude to stand up to homosexual nihilists. If these activists really wanted to help someone, they'd go to India, or some other country and help homosexuals avoid being killed by people who actually are intolerant, instead of hanging around outside institutions in the U.S. imposing themselves on civilized and polite people, whom they nevertheless vent their wrath upon.

And, Sean, if you came here to defend the indefensible, you may be sorry. But that depends on what makes you sorry, and I almost have less knowledge of that than John does of covenant ceremonies.

George

Car shouting: A mating practice in which teenage boys lean out the window and yell suggestive remarks at females walking down the street from the safety of their vehicle. If they eventually get brave enough, they will shout these remarks at women under 50.
