Subject: Another Failed Mission?

Looks like another mission to the heathens who believe in Jesus Christ has failed.

Moral relativism is a difficult sell to anyone raised in a Christian home. Of course, the missionaries of the New Age correctly perceive that fewer and fewer homes are Christian these days, so maybe they'll have the eonfidence to continue working on the younger crowd.

Moral Relativism in action:

1980's: Ronald Reagan allows the CIA to smuggle cocaine into the U.S. to sell, in order to bypass Congress' refusal to fund aid to the Contras in Nicaragua. Since the major port of entry is in Arkansas, the governor of that state gets blamed for being a drug smuggler. After all, it is better for a few hundred thousand Americans to crash on drugs, that the U.S. can free a foreign country from a communist dictator that the Nicaraguans are going to turn around and elect back to office twenty years later.

2010's: Barack Obama allows the ATF to smuggle assault weapons into Mexico illegally to sell to Mexican drug gangs. Since the White House has a treaty brewing with the U.N. abrogating second amendment rights for U.S. citizens, it is hoped that the violence and carnage that ensues will prompt sissy Senators to go running to ratify the treaty so as to protect themselves from the ATF's guns. After all, it's better that a few thousand Mexicans get slaughtered, than for American politicians who feel guilty about something to fear armed uprising.

It is better to abort a fetus who can't vote, in order to keep the vote of the mother, who can. Likewise, it makes room for more adult immigrants who are physically able to walk to the polls. If one has a broad and benevolent vision for America's future, it is necessary to do anything required to stay in office.

Moral relativism gets put to excellent use by scoundrels who deliberately go and create problems, then justify their immoral actions as being necessary to solve the problems that they themselves caused on purpose. Isn't that a real kick?

Is there really a big screaming need in the church for homosexual priests? Or is the big screaming need that of the homosexuals, their families, and friends, to validate their own self-images without actually having to surrender to the will of God?

The laser was once describes as "a solution looking for a problem." Those who are in the business of selling dubious solutions to nebulous problems very often create problems in order to stay in business.

George
