>said, "I am the one you are looking for; what is the

>oppressed by the devil, for God was with him. 39 We
>are witnesses to all that he did both in Judea and in
>Jerusalem. They put him to death by hanging him on a

>commanded us to preach to the people and to testify
>that he is the one ordained by God as judge of the
>living and the dead. 43 All the prophets testify about
>him that everyone who believes in him receives
>forgiveness of sins through his name."
>Gentiles Receive the Holy Spirit
> 44 While Peter was still speaking, the Holy
>Spirit fell upon all who heard the word. 45 The
>circumcised believers who had come with Peter were
>astounded that the gift of the Holy Spirit had been
>poured out even on the Gentiles, 46 for they heard
>them speaking in tongues and extolling God. Then Peter
>said, 47 "Can anyone withhold the water for baptizing
>these people who have received the Holy Spirit just as
>we have?" 48 So he ordered them to be baptized in the

>Acts 10:1-48 (NRSV)

John, where in the New Testament does it say that it is all right for a minister of Jesus Christ to tell a whopping lie in order to deceive people into agreeing to join a religious body that is as inimical to the truth and the freedom that truth gives as the Sanhedrin was to the gospel? And where in the New Testament does it say that the Christian church that adopts homosexuality as normal and desirable is most pleasing to God? Or are you trying to tell us that Steve Veazey has received one of his "revelations" from "the One" that says that Cornelius was a member of a radical homosexual cult? If so, quote his revelation, and not the Bible.

And to top it all off, in a discussion of how your bosses lied for 20 years about not intending to join the NCC, you quote from a NCC owned and operated bible translation. You just don't get it, do you John? They have successfully shortcircuited your brain. You can no more see your bosses' actions in the light of day than Robocop could arrest his boss -- because in real life, (as Robocop was in fiction,) your programming completely blocks any moral capacity that you might have had to evaluate the motives and agenda of your bosses.
