Note, Lois, the elasticity of the term "problem pregnancy." Sometimes the "problem" is that the person who is pregnant simply doesn't want anyone to know what she's been doing.

I used to work with an Egyptian colleague who was staunchly opposed to abortion. He said, "They always come at you with the standpoint that occasionally a woman may find herself in a bad position, like pregnant after rape, or with a Downs Syndrome child, but in the end, it always ends up as wholesale slaughter of any baby that is just a tad bit inconvenient."

There is a shortage of children to adopt, because the woman who isn't on crack, or otherwise diseased, can afford an abortion. So most of the babies who are killed are killed because their mother is in a socioeconomic stratum that can actually afford to raise a child. It's cheaper to put a few hundred into an abortion so that the rest of the money can go to the other trappings of the middle-class life.

Part of the plan to destroy Christianity, and subsequently, Western civilization has been the constant preaching that immorality is not only not sinful, but a desirable necessity for a happy and well-balanced life, and that anything interfering with it, such as an unwanted baby, or a prune-faced puritannical priest, has to be got rid of. The notion that every human being over the age of puberty has the right to have sex regardless of what the clergy, or their parents think is already being taught in schools. The Communitarians pretty much openly endorse this by winking at sexual immorality and trying to accomodate it as "inevitable."

But, as I said earlier, this all comes to an end when the system crashes, due to the fact that an advanced, technological society cannot exist with rampant indulgence of the ego.

Someone has to be sober enough to go to work and pay taxes to float the health insurance and the rent checks. The movie "Rise of the Planet of the Apes" is pretty prophetic of what is going to happen in the next few years. Those of us who have been taught that they need not work, educate themselves, or exercise any self-control or responsibility will riot and burn most of the place down when the welfare checks stop coming. Thanks to evolutionary teachings in school, most of us think that they are nothing more than hairless apes, entitled to do whatever they please, as apes do in the wild. What they fail to realize is that simians in the wild are primarily vegetarians, and live in the middle of what can only be described as an environmental salad. I am not sure what hairless apes in Los Vegas and Washinton, D.C. are going to eat, unless it be each other. It's always one unthinkable thing after another.

But the subversives always planned to serve the unthinkable up in small doses, so that no one would retch before becoming conditioned to it.

From Section 156 to Section 186, to Section 216, it's going to be one thing after another, twnty-five years apart -- until the roof caves in, of course.

George
