Lois, it is no longer a "cushy" career choice. Being a paid employee of the Community of Christ is fast reaching the same status as being a government employee in Zimbabwe. When the money is all gone, the investments and real estate have all been liquidated, the CofC will crash and burn like any worldly socialist enterprise run by academics with no real life experience other than learning that saying "Pax Vobiscum" will get them a paycheck.
