What Mr. Veazey doesn't seem to know is that the issue was dealt with ages ago. The reason the issue has to be revisited is that Mr. Veazey and his fellow travelers do not like the way the issue was settle. They are going to keep revisiting it until it gets resettled the way they want it to be settled.

It has nothing to do with the way the church "wants to approach the journey into the future." It has everything to do with the way that Steve Veazey and the homophiliacs want to approach the journey into the future. "We" means "Me and my gay friends and family," and nobody else.
