Lois, the problem is with their attitude toward scripture.

The "Restored Church" foundation of the RLDS sect is that of a Protestant Church with continuing revelation.

The liberalists have turned the entire situation into an oxymoron -- that of a Unitarian church with scripture that is so unreliable (because of the very nature of scripture as imagined by them) that one cannot even see the benefit of spending money to print it, other than, I suppose, as souveneirs to sell in the Temple.

The glass display of the Printer's Ms. of the Book of Mormon in the Independence Temple is of a nature quite diffrerent from that of the Constitution in Washington D.C. The Missouri display is of "how stupid we used to be a long time ago," and the DC display is of "how great we used to be and still are."

George
