The CofC leadership can always point to the rejected revelations of Joseph Smith, Jr. as "proof" that all the scriptures have been adulterated. But who other than the original church, (which in the Temple Lot case the RLDS successfully sued to prove it was) is responsible for the adulteration? Rather than teaching that all the scriptures are corrupt, shouldn't they just teach that any scripture that has passed through their hands is corrupt?
