Mamusz, blindness is endemic to the human race. For instance, the Pope has a miter with the Latin inscritpion iesus christus vicari, meaning "I am, vicariously, Jesus Christ." Yet the passage of scripture that says the antiChrist (or anyone like him, will be in the place of worship, demonstrating that he "is God." The scripture attacks those who forbid to marry (under the post-prehistoric to apostate times definition of marriage.) But no Roman Catholic supposes for a moment that this has anything to do with real life.

CofC priesthood simply do not believe that the scriptures really mean anything, other than as neat little fables for illustrative purposes. If they did believe that the scriptures were truth provided by God, they would not fall prey to the Devil's scheme of convincing everyone that he does not exist.

As Mark Twain pointed out, the eighty year old man rocking on the front porch who thinks he is going to heaven because he isn't committing adultery is severely deluded, because God knows exactly what he would do if he had a single testosterone molecule left.
