More on the fear.

Our current president, who boldly announced during the previous administration, (on his authority as a Constitutional law specialist) that the President has no right to engage troops in combat without first informing Congress, and obtaining consent from it to do so -- unless the U.S. itself was in imminent danger. Now that he is president, he sent troops into combat and later sent a message to the Speaker of the House to let him know that the battle was already on.

What happened in the CofC just reflects what has been happening in the U.S. for the last 25 years. Liberalism has set out to twist the laws and the constitution to have its idea of righteousness pushed onto the country. Just as the CofC priesthood says, "Judge not lest ye be judged" (which is like Obama quoting the Soviet constitution, since this verse is nowhere in the scriptures of the RLDS church, which the CofC claims to be,) but suddenly have no interest in Paul's admonition not to go into a secular court against brethren to sue them. Liberals will quote the rules and breath down anyone's neck to get them out of the way, but the laws are merely a tool to manipulate those who believe in and support the law. The liberals regard law as no barrier to them doing whatever they please, as long as they pretend to do so legally.

Every member of the CofC hierarchy knows that Joseph Smith, Jr. founded the original 1830 church, which the RLDS claim to be, and the CofC claim to be RLDS. They also know that Joseph Jr. received a revelation showing how the First Presidency might be impeached and removed from office. Though the revelation is not in either the RLDS or LDS canon, the CofC has this as yet another reason to distance itself from the original church and Joseph Smith, Jr. That helps nullify the idea that this revelation might be applicable to their own malfeasance.

It's a shame that I don't have any sailor friends, because I would have to have one to provide the words to adequately describe what the CofC leadership is all about. It wouldn't be reviling them, it would simply be telling the truth. It's just that the truth is so awful that the English language lacks any polite words in regular usage to describe the CofC hierarchy.
