Lois, I think that John is insinuating that you are fearful, or unbelieving, or abominable, or a murderess, or a fornicator, or a sorceress, or an idolator -- or possibly all seven. But from the same experience with you here on the forum that is identical to John's experience, I know that you are not a liar.

Since the Cofc pushes sexual immorality, it cannot complain about fornication or murder. HIV makes fornication and murder two definitions of the same word. Likewise, since the CofC supposes that anyone who doesn't like homosexuality is a homophobe, that is paranoid fearfulness.

I guess John is complimenting you, since most of the things his scripture quotes cover are things the Cofc promotes. Since "sorcery" in Greek is "pharmakeia," I'm not entirely sure that the CofC leadership doesn't practice it, because it has obviously been smoking something.

John's quote from Psalms 63:11 is a little frightening, though. When I filed charges against an adult neighbor who had assaulted my 5 year-old son, he wrote this quote on his garage door. God was on his side, you know. For the paranoid crazies, nothing is self-explanatory. That's why Roman Catholic bibles are forbidden to be printed without explanatory footnotes. The neighbor eventually ended up on the roster of sex criminals, but not until after he had self-righteously caused me and my family infinite grief.

After over 133 years, you'd think the CorC would have gotten around to putting explanatory footnotes in the Inspired Version. That would be self-defeating, though, because when the hierarchy changed what it wanted the people to believe regarding any particular verse, the footnotes would become as embarrassing as statements and memos issued by that same hierarchy.
